Protection Earrings
My curiosity with new creative processes and unique, paper cutouts resulted in the abstract formation of the Protection earrings. As I continue to experiment and find new ways to tap into the playfulness of my inner child, I find the forms that often appear are linked to the overarching themes of comfort and security found in my art.
And I couldn’t be happier that this shape came to be and created the effect of a protective shield to act as a barrier and safeguard at a time when we need it most.
Available in brass with an Opal, Amazonite, Moonstone, onyx, carnelian or lapis post. The gemstone post can also be worn solo as a subtle and minimalistic stud.
The earrings are about 1.25 inches long and 0.5 inches wide. The gemstone is 4mm in size and is secured in a 14k gold-filled bezel with a hypoallergenic 14k gold-filled earring post.
