Getting real with resin class

 Getting Real With Resin - Intro Class

Learn how to work with a two part, non-toxic, epoxy resin to create miniature art works in your jewelry. Pour the resin into a bezel or silicone mold for endless possibilities. I teach this class in three ways: a 3 hour overview where you learn all the basics and get to make a couple of pieces in pre-made bezels and molds. A 5 hour workshop where you have much more time to work with the medium and delve into more complex designs. Or as three 3 hour sessions where I teach mold and bezel making, layering, filing, texturing as well as pigmentation, filing and drilling. Either way, you get excellent fundamentals in resin work and great tips and tricks to succeed with your own creations!

What a Relief! Pendant Making Class

In this unique class you will learn a multitude of techniques to create beautiful relief pendants. You will learn how to create silicone molds, how to use clay to create relief sculptures and then you will learn how to mix and color resin to use in finishing your work.

Learn how to solder sterling silver bezels then fill with resin and create magnificent miniature pieces of art

Resin Pendant Workshop

Learn the basics of constructing and soldering a sterling silver bezel and then creating a resin center in this three-day intensive workshop. You will learn jewelry making basics such as sawing, filing, sanding as well as soldering and finishing including polishing and oxidizing. You will also learn to work with a non-toxic jewelry grade resin that gives you endless possibilities for your jewelry designs! Once your handmade bezel is ready you will learn all sorts of tips and tricks to mix, pour and color your resin hassle free. Once the resin has set you will also discover a multitude of finishing techniques to add depth and originality to your pieces. This workshop is also full of information and advice on troubleshooting common resin issues.
