Skip the noisy restaurant and spend an evening making something real—together. Held in my cozy, private studio in North Seattle, my two-person workshops are designed for couples, best friends, or creative partners who want to connect, laugh, and learn a new craft side-by-side. All classes are completely private, welcoming for beginners or intermediate makers, and focused on real-deal metalsmithing techniques.
What You Can Create Together
Whether you want to learn silver soldering while making a set of 5 custom stacking rings, try your hand at sculpting charms or custom bands in lost-wax (with options for a full two-session bench experience or wax-only carving), or craft textured stacked bangles, eco-friendly etched patterns, handmade earrings, and delicate gold-filled pieces—there's a workshop for every style.

Hi, I’m Sam! As a full-time metalsmith and artist, my studio in North Seattle is my happy place - and I love opening it up to folks who want to get their hands dirty and create something real together.
I know that stepping into a metalsmithing studio can feel intimidating if you've never used a torch or carved wax before. That’s why my two-person classes are intentionally low-stress, warm, and zero-judgment. Whether you’re celebrating a date night, an anniversary, or just quality time with a best friend, my goal is to guide you step-by-step through traditional jewelry techniques so you both leave with a unique, handmade piece of jewelry and a great story to tell.
