These aren't just earrings; they are pieces of history reimagined.
The journey of these hoops began at a flea market in Europe, where I was lucky enough to discover six authentic Roman coins. After bringing them home and diving into research, I was thrilled to discover they were originally minted around 300 AD.
To preserve their ancient legacy while making them wearable for today, I cast the original artifacts into the sculptural charms you see here. Each coin is approximately ¾" in diameter, suspended from comfortable, high-polish huggie hoops that make them perfect for daily wear.
Beyond their historical weight, wearing coins has traditionally symbolized abundance and prosperity. I was deeply moved to discover this connection, as it resonates with the idea of jewelry as a meaningful amulet. These huggies serve as a wearable reminder of the richness of the past and the prosperity of your own future.
Available in brass with sterling posts or sterling silver. Huggie hoop earrings are interchangeable, so the coin can be removed.
