This snake bolo tie necklace is one of the most diverse and versatile pieces of jewelry I have ever created. Made with a single long length of snake chain and two cast brass pieces of metal, this bolo can be worn in several different ways. First, like a traditioanl bolo tie, with the small connector positioned tight at the nape of the neck. Secondly, experiment with knotting and twisting the chain to create a shorter and more dramatic necklace. Or, thirdly, wear the chain down your back with a open back oufit. With this choice you could also experiment with knotting or looping the chain over and around the central “bolo” part.
MATERIALS: Vintage brass snake chain. Hand carved in wax and cast in metal, snake head and rattle. Full length 39 inches.
Cubic zurconia can be added to the eyes for more magic.
