I discovered this sweet little shell on the beach in Valencia, when travelling to Spain at the beginning of the summer. I was beach combing and stumbled upon this cutie amidst several other different shaped shells and tiny rocks. I love the detail and texture in the natural made material. I decided to create a mold and cast these in sterling silver and brass. They’re such a delightful symbol of summertime, beach combing, and rest!
Shells are rich in symbolism, often representing protection, fertility, and a connection to the ocean. They are generally associated with feminine energy, abundance, and spirituality. They can also symbolize resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles as they are found in the ocean, which is a powerful force of nature!
Shell jewelry holds deep cultural and historical significance, particularly in coastal communities and those with strong ties to the ocean. For example, in some cultures wearing shell jewelry is believed to bring good fortune, ward off evil, and connect you to the sea!
This cuff is hand fabricated with two shells shapes on either end.
CARE INFORAMATION: Turn your wrist and push the thin side of your wrist through the opening of the cuff. Then turn the cuff to face the wide side. Do not try to force the cuff over the wide part of your wrist. Please reach out with questions or see my instagram for videos of how to easily and correctly put on a cuff bracelet.
